Dr Florence Charpigny

Is member of LARHRA as a Study Engineer. Member of CIETA and TICCIH and of the Editorial Board of Textile History. Researches focuse on textile history in south-eastern France, 1850-1950: technical innovation in weaving looms; textile creation and the expertise of textile designers; processes of patrimonialization of places, skills and know-how transfer.

Natacha Coquery

Is professor of modern history at the University of Lyon 2, Deputy Director of LARHRA (CNRS/UMR 5190), senior member of the Institut universitaire de France. Specialist in history consumption and retail in Paris in the eighteenth century, her current research focuses on the luxury market during the French Revolution.

Pierre Vernus

Is Assistant Professor at the University Lumière Lyon 2, member of the LARHRA. He is the WP2 Leader. Specialist in history of silk and silkwares production and trade (19th-20th centuries). Co-director of the symogih.org project.

Elena Ribes Martí

Graduated higher in ADE by the UV, with a specialization in textile from Aitex.
I started in Garin in 2000 as administrative-commercial to know the operation of the business and traveling to meet customers.
Shortly after I started attending international fairs to detect business niches. After a few years I went to dedicate myself to
the clients that for specific needs did not fit the standard manufacturing process. And throughout the process, actively participate in product development.
Actually I am currently the manager of Garin where he combined the administrative activity with the commercial one.

Arabella León Muñoz

Degree in Art History in 2008 from the UV. Master in Heritage Management from the UV (2010).
I worked as a curator at the Moncada Silk Museum, Valencia (Spain) (2013-2016).
I participated in the inventory of goods related to the silk route of the Generalitat Valencina (2016,
Government of Valencia). Actually I prepare doctorate on silk tissue

Dr. del Val

Is graduated in Software Engineering, Master´s degree in Business Administration; Master’s degree in Marketing and Commercial Management; Import /Export business degree.
He has held different positions in several ICT and telecommunication companies. At present, he is in the Strategic Planning Department at the Instituto Cervantes.

Prof. Dr. Dunja Mladenić

Works as a researcher and a project leader at Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, leading Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and teaching at Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School, University of Ljubljana, University of Zagreb and University of Primorska. She is an expert on study and development of Machine Learning, Big Data/Text Mining, Internet of Things, Data Science, Semantic Technology techniques and their application on real-world problems..

Franz Rottensteiner

Franz Rottensteiner is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Photogrammetry and GeoInformation at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, where he is responsible for research on photogrammetric image analysis.

Maurizio Vitella

Associated Professor of History of Modern Art at the Department of Culture and Society of the University of Palermo, Italy. In 1996 he obtained a PhD in Industrial design, Figurative and Applied
Arts at the Politecnico of Milan. Between 1999 and 2000 he obtained a specialized qualification in Identification, analysis and screening of fabrics at the Foundation for Arte della Seta Lisio in Florence.

María Roca Cabrera

Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Fashion Design from the University of Southampton, Art Historian and a Master’s Degree in Art History and Visual Culture from the Valencia University. She currently has a PhD grant of research to conduct her doctoral thesis, that deals with textile collecting market, and has initiate her teaching career at the History of Art Department. She has published in books and specialized journals and presented the results of his research at international conferences and symposiums

Cristina Portalés

Is Senior Researcher (since 2012) in computer vision and augmented reality at the Institute of Robotics and ICT, Universitat de València. MSc in Surveying and Geoinformation (TU-Wien, 2002); PhD by Universitat Politècnica de València (2008) with honors. EH Thomson Award (2010) by the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society. Ester Alba

Professor of the Faculty of Geography and History. Degree in Geography and History and Doctor in History of Art from the Universitat de València. Her research focuses on the field of artistic image, the representation of power, from the perspective of visual studies and the perspective of gender, art criticism, museology and cultural heritage. She has recognized two six-year terms of research.

Mar Gaitán

Art Historian, Master in Cultural Heritage and PhD student in Art History from the University of Valencia. Member of ICOM, specialist in communication and cultural management. She has worked in communications for different organizations such as the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) or the National Coordination of Conservation of Cultural Heritage-INAH, where she has also conducted public studies.
